Just by the pier are the remains of the old fishing community that was Bognor Rocks. Bognor Rocks was the original name for the area when only the fisherman lived here. This all began to change when a Hatter from London called Hotham visited the area in the 1780's.
Couldn't resist a stroll along the beach on this fine crisp morning. Not certain what he was looking for, but he seemed to be having fun looking.
St Wilfreds Church Victoria Drive in Bognor Regis. I'm not a religious person but I enjoy the architecture that go's into the making of these buildings. St Wilfreds was built in 1910. Notice no tower or spire, it was planned but the money was never forthcoming.
