What a difference in weather! The insert was taking 6 days ago.
I wonder if the change in weather confuses the wildlife? or do they just take it in their stride.
With a snowfall there are so many photo opportunity's, normally a basic object is enhanced by a little snow.
Not my own work but the work of the many children taking advantage of this rare snowfall.
Taking in the local Hotham Park.
Woke up this morning to snow in Bognor Regis! Quite an unusual sight in these parts. Kent, Surrey and Dorset but not mild West Sussex.
There was nothing for it but to get the boots on and get out in it with the camera before it thawed.

Now That Seems Like A Good Idea!
The Bell Inn, shame about the outside toilet.
England Lane, my wife's hobby, dolls houses.
A lane consisting of florist, cafe and pub, sounds good to me!

Stormy Weather

Stormy Weather

Had to go and get some shots of the sea during this stormy weather. Got pretty wet but it was well worth it.
The pier at Bognor Regis was taking quite a battering.

The Days End

A view that reminds of being a child after spending a day on the beach, the sun is setting and the day is over, and the next fun day at the beach seems a long way off.
More of those mini beaches.
Fascinating to watch the way the tide trickles in and out of the mini beach's it creates amongst the smoothness of the sand.
The bits and bobs left by the fisher folk make for interesting photos. I like the smooth seaweed tangled with the rough rope.
I will post another version of this in black and white giving it more atmosphere.
Yea I know, a little fancy frame makes all the difference.
Although I darkened the sky, the rest of the photo is basically as it was taken, I love the footprint's left by unknown beach strollers
Bought myself a new digital camera, a Fuji Finepix S9500. A beautiful camera, has the look and feel of an SLR. Although the lens is not interchageable, something I wasnt really interested in as it has a wide/tele that covers my needs, as well as a macro and super macro setting, what I really love is that all the controls are available at the touch of a button, rather than thumbing through endless menus on screen.
The image can be viewed through the viewfinder or via a screen on the rear of the camera which is movable, allowing you to take photos at many angles and positions.
So it was off to the beach to try it out!!
